From endless screenshares, dated UI, endless app updated with Zoom to faster, focused and outcomes-driven meetings with Feta
ok so zoom was way better than incumbents bc of latency
but now we need a zoom competitor to pop up with WAAAAAAY better UX
who is building this???
Zoom now crashes at least once a day, usually in the middle of meetings. starting to remind me of Homers website in the Simpsons the way Zoom are trying to add so much in, please just do meetings really well.
I hate Zoom with passion. You will open it so you can quickly join a meeting and that is when the idiot will start downloading an update. Update that you can’t cancel.
@Zoom why does your app keep crashing on MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1? Restarts my laptop every 5-6 times or so
Look,
Zoom’s
awesome.
We’ve

But
let’s
face
it,
Zoom
fatigue
is
real.
blurry

unproductive

leaving
you
questioning..
if
you’ve

anything
apart
from
small

We get it.
And,
therefore
We
understand
how
modern 🌍

Zoom does good video calls, but lacks an end-to-end meeting workflow. When comparing Zoom vs. modern, more adaptable platforms, here’s why it fell behind.
Zoom’s UI is utilitarian, designed for broad accessibility, making the user experience feel impersonal, boring and rigid.
Zoom provides scheduling assistance, but lacks deeper AI features. Without which users spend a lot of time on pre & post meeting tasks.
Zoom lacks new-age AI features that automatically generate accurate transcripts, summaries for better recall and clear actions.
Many users feel Zoom hasn't addressed existing usability issues. This creates a sense of stagnation and a platform that feels outdated.
Zoom is often difficult to navigate, particularly when managing screen sharing and viewing other participants simultaneously.
Zoom integrations lack depth, causing users to switch between apps, disrupting meetings flow and limiting tailored workflows.
Feta is the only video-calling tool built for product and engineering teams. Run seamless standups, retros, sprint sessions, or syncs with AI-powered documentation and automated workflows.
Set reminders for Slack messages, update tasks on Linear/Jira, or block time for GitHub PR reviews on GCal and more
With accurate transcripts & summary, Feta incorporates organization-specific lingo, intent, context and hierarchy of every discussion to catalogue them effectively
Automatically gather open tasks, GitHub PRs, and blockers into an easy-to-read Kanban view. Reduce prep time and get straight to problem-solving.
Generate context-aware notes, PRDs, email drafts, and more that match your format, saving over 45 minutes per meeting
Search across meetings, summaries, shared files, and recordings—whether from the knowledge library or through in-meeting AI search.
